I have found that July is a season for the harvest of friendship, in the form of regards from students who return from abroad for summer holidays, of DVDs as presents from those who share the taste and passion for movies, and of photos of a lovely baby from a friend who migrated to New Zealand more than a decade ago! Thanks to phones and Internet. Which makes it possible that I feel no distance from all of you, no matter where you are.

I had a dream…

Martin Luther King made his world-famous declaration ‘I have a dream’ nearly half a century ago. I, far from great and as common as so many people, also have dreams of my own, though different from the great man, mine are real.

A kitty, white and tender with big, blue eyes, appeared in my dream last night. She was so soft that I dared not hold her with more strength than necessary; she was so weak that her watery eyes could beg love and voluntary care from the coldest heart; she was so sick that I was crying all the time, carrying her crazily around to ask for help.

I have no idea of the fate of the kitty, because the alarm clock woke me up when I finally found a doctor who was willing to treat her. But the anguish throughout the dream haunted until this very moment: it reminds me of the long lost feeling. What it is, I cannot tell. face

Not a lot of dreams I can recall in the morning. What about you? Maybe it is not only a good way to practice writing (since genuine communication helps most in learning a language), but  a way to share and enjoy life.

                                 Recipe for A Good Writing

1. Is Writing Important to YOU?

I do not know whether or not writing is important to you; however, it is important to me. I have to write emails to friends, to my fellow associates and to my boss; I have to make presentations, reports for lectures, demonstration or promotion; I have to take notes, write memos or issue invitations to make a gathering possible; and I have to accomplish a 20,000-word thesis for the graduation. Writing, therefore, is an indispensable part in my life, and I suppose, the same things happen in your life.

That is why we are required to be an effective writer: to communicate a message, to explain a situation, to cheer our friends, and to refresh our life with new ideas that makes it valuable--the list seems endless.

2. How Can WE Become An Effective Writer?

In order to get the answer to this question, we have to first ask ourselves the question: Why are we Ineffective writers? What is wrong with our writings, the simple and repetitive vocabulary, the misspellings, the grammatical errors, the off-topic arguments, or the structure? All the above can contribute a lot to our writings; however, the biggest problem lies in the fact that we are not aware of the exact problem that fails us; that is, we have tried to figure out the No. 1 pitfall. Have you ever done that? I hope not, because that means you will improve tremendously And swiftly--Thinking makes big differences while practice alone does not.

3. Figure Out MY Pitfall

Knowing the key to be a good writer is self-consciousness, we have moved forward a big step to success. But success does not come easy: it requires a clear logic, an efficient method, an appropriate process, insightful instructions as well as considerable practice. My offer starts with the logic with a comprehensive list of potential pitfalls, from which you have to recognize your biggest problem on your own. In the case that you are not sure of your weakness, then I am here to offer My Instructions. All you have to do is to have a Look and Think and Ask.

                                     Are You Ready? Let's Go!

No matter how torturous when racking brains for a writing about happiness;
No matter how embarrassing when bursting out 'chicken legs' instead of 'drum sticks';

No matter how hard you have been wrestling with English,
All the no matter's will be terminated HERE--Nana_English.

I will help you to achieve a desirable performance in language tests;
